During only 1 hour ride from centre of Copenhagen we can take you to the city of Helsingor to show you a magnificent Kronborg Castle. It is one of the most beautiful Renaissance castles in whole northern Europe and definitely most popular one in Denmark visited by over 200 000 people every year. Despite its impressive size and picturesque location by the Oresund strait, it will probably be not that well known worldwide if not Shakespeare’s Hamlet which story was set exactly here. Castle was built in 1574-1585 by King Frederik II. Over 400 years later it was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2000. During sightseeing you will see the huge banqueting hall with interactive exhibition which presents history of the castle. You will also visit King’s and Queen’s apartments which avoided destructions made by Swedes with marble fireplace and painted ceilings.

If you have more time we can also combine this tour with short visit in the Old Town of Copenhagen. Then such tour would last up to 7,5 hours and include also such highlights of Copenhagen like Monument of Little Mermaid, Kastellet, Amalienborg, Amalienhavn and Stroget Street and other sites seen during a short walk across the Old Town.
