Pårnu, Estonia
One of the most popular sea resort in Estonia it is Pårnu. Besides the very interesting and charming historic Old Town, Parnu offers vast sandy beaches with shallow waters. Parnu is also the largest resort in Estonia. It offers plentifull spas, water parks or traditional bath houses. This place is ideal for whole family. Children can spend their time not only in warm shallow swimming area but also in playgrounds. Adult can take a stroll through beaches and the promenade. There is also place for cycling or skiting. There are numerous possibilities for various activities such as water skiing, yachting, canoeing, kayaking. Not without reason, Pårnu is called 'Estonia's Miami'.
Palanga, Lithuania
Palanga is the largest resort town in Lithuania. That's here, more and more people gather on sandy 10km-long beaches to take part in numerous summer parties, sunbath and swim. In the summertime, this place resounds with laugh, music, talks, sounds of playing. Tourists spend their spare time in restaurants, bars, rides and others. However, in winter season, Palanga turned into idyllic and tranquil place for pensioners. Palanga is also a picturesque town with charming wooden houses.
Liepaja, Latvia
Liepaja is the third biggest city in Latvia. In summertime it turns into a huge beach party with numerous concerts and music events. In July, there is organised a huge event called the Baltic Beach Bash. In August, the biggest rock festival of Latvia is held there. The beach of Liepaja is a perfect place for people who like spending their time during hunting for raw amber. That's why there is placed a huge amber sundial which is 12 foot tall.
Rügen Island, Germany
The biggest island in germany is called Rugen. It offers numerous peacefull white-sand beaches, natural cliffs and unspoilt nature. This is a perfect place for those people who want to spend their free time far away bustling cities. On the island, there is situated the small town of Binz which charm is hidden in nice architecture with wonderful classic German mansions. On the island, there is also a national park.
