Stockholm by public transportation
Home > Tours > Stockholm - Sweden > Stockholm by public transportation
If you want to have a guided tour of Stockholm during your cruise but you are on a budget, then this proposal may be perfect for you. We prepared a special version of a city tour which would include almost all the same sites as “Stockholm City Tour” but with the use of public transportation instead of private car/mini-van/bus.
Our guide could meet you at the port and give you special 24-hour public transportation tickets. With those tickets you will be able to move smoothly around the city with our guide. From the port we will take a public bus to Slussen - communication knot between Sodermalm and Gamla Stan (Old Town) which offers fantastic view over Sodermalm island – biggest one in Stockholm. From Slussen we will take a public ferry to get to Djurgarden island to visit Vasa Museum. From there we will travel again by public bus to Old Town where we will have a walking tour of its highlights.
After the tour you can have some free time in the centre and come back to your ship on your own at chosen time or our guide can assist you on the way back to the port.
