Potsdam Square Potsdamer Platz) is one of central points of Berlin, with very modern architecture and one of the most important reminder of contemporary history - not destroyed parts of Berlin Wall.


After the second World War demolitions no building was restored on Potsdam Square, as it was a place where Berlin Wall goes. The huge, empty area was rebuilt in 90s, and now is one of the most modern Square in the city.
The most impressive building is Sony Center, the European Headquarter of the Japan company. Apart of offices, the building is also a shopping and entertainment center, with 3D cinema, many boutiques and restaurants. The roof of the glass-and-steel construction is a screen of a light spectacle, as it changes colors in 21 second sequence.
